وأضاف بلاتر بعد لقائه مع رئيس وزراء الكيان الصهيوني بنيامين نتنياهو أن مسؤولي كرة القدم في الكيان الصهيوني وفلسطين واوروبا واسيا سيبحثون هذه الامور في سبتمبر المقبل.

وقال بلاتر في مؤتمر صحفي "ستكون هناك قوة مهمة.. وسنعقد اجتماعا في زوريخ قبل اجتماع اللجنة التنفيذية للفيفا المقرر في أكتوبر."

وجاءت زيارة بلاتر للكيان الصهيوني بعد زيارته الضفة الغربية ولقائه بالمسؤولين هناك في وقت سابق من الاسبوع الجاري.

ويشعر الفلسطينيون بالغضب ازاء قيام قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي - التي تسيطر على حركة التنقل بين قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية - بمنع رياضيين من التنقل بحرية.

وقال جبريل الرجوب رئيس الاتحاد الفلسطيني لكرة القدم خلال زيارة بلاتر للضفة الغربية "آمل ان يلتقط الإسرائيليون هذه الفرصة ويعيدوا النظر في سلوكهم تجاه الاسرة الرياضية الفلسطينية. اذا لم يفعلوا ذلك سنطالب في العام القادم بطرد إسرائيل من الفيفا."[/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b][/b]
