Sometimes as we walk lifes path we meet a special friend
Someone in life that we can always count on and depend
They share their secrets and the joys of life also to
It is always a comforting feeling of a special friend when they say I love you
They don't always have to have any reason to always say
My kind friend you make me smile when I feel my skies are cloudy and gray
Sometimes they go through changes in life that we make also to
Always there with us our whole lives through
We may feel lonely or sad on a given day
But a special and best friend helps keep the darkness away
They are always in my thoughts and prayers always to
Often a best friend will say I love and was thinking about you
